Don’t be moved by your emotions

Do not be moved by your emotions ( anger, fear, frustration).  Emotional reactions to life circumstances can derail us and ensnare our progress.  Have you ever been ensnared by your emotional response and the words that flowed from the outburst?  If so humble yourself to be released from the net.

Embrace your fear, anxiety or anger today and make choices based on faith.  Don’t allow fear or anger to have any place of control in your life today. Take time to think before you respond and allow the emotion of the moment to pass.

Be careful with your words because they have power to break things and destroy relationships.  A gentle word can diffuse an argument and a harsh word can stir up anger in another person.  Be patient with your boss, employee, prospect, son, daughter wife or husband today.  Patience has the power to persuade so be in a hurry to listen and not so fast to talk.

Proverbs 12:16  A fools wrath is quickly and openly known, but a prudent man ignores and insult.

Proverbs  16:32  He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, he who rules his own spirit better than he who takes a city.
