Topics we are going to cover

TOPIC 1
Boundaries in Leadership
In this Topic we will discuss how the principles of boundaries apply to leadership in creating clarity about who owns what. Who is the directly responsible person. We’ll discuss how boundaries define who we are, who we are not, what we are willing to do and what we are not willing to do.

TOPIC 2
The weight of responsibility
In this topic we will discuss responsibility and how to resist taking on what another person is responsible for and why allowing this weakens the system, causes resentment and feelings of being overwhelmed among team members that take on others' responsibility.

TOPIC 3
The resistance demons in the other
In this topic we will discuss how to respond to resistance to your message. We’ll bust the misconception that getting a person to hear your message depends on eloquence of speech, logic and simply trying harder.

Testimonials

Roger Daviston’s talk was worth every penny I spent to be down there. I found myself realizing that Gossip and Sarcasm are far too familiar in our business and I don’t just observe it, I participate. I also I realized when I went through the “indications that you might have a problem with boundaries” that a number of them seemed to describe my operations manager. So I decided we are going to have a company meeting and face this head on.
Fred Graber, Owner at Mechanical Man Inc., Goshen, IN

Working with Roger Daviston has and is a life changer. He has taught me so much about boundaries. The biggest take away so far, is that I have learned what is mine and what is not. What I mean by this, is that I have the right to say no to a lot of things I would have allowed within my boundary. Taking on other people’s problems. A simple “no” can be life changing and greatly reduces a lot of unwanted emotions, such as anger, stress, anxiety and guilt to name just a few.

I was stuck for 10 years and had lost hope. I can’t recommend the teachings of Roger Daviston enough.
Brad Drake, Owner at Brad Drake Heating and Air, Mount Olive, AL

Roger, I was thinking this morning about my growth, the company's growth, and how the employees had grown. It dawned on me that we started doing this in March of 2014. In just 2 years we grew the company 55%. But what means the most to me is to see the growth of the people. I thank you for challenging me, and helping me grow knowing that the company can only be as big as the leader. My reward is seeing how everyone has improved their lives at work and at home. Again I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you have helped us accomplish.
